| "problème" resolu depuis 1 mois mais je doute fortement du serieux de ce test. j'ai été la voir et est martyrisé la pédale rien ne se passse de travers. |

Le groupe Fiat avait publié un communiqué de presse en juin dernier au sujet de cette affaire :

According to the article, in full acceleration the pedal slipped to the side (right to left) locking onto the stop plate on the floor of the passenger compartment.
Fiat Group Automobiles engineers have carefully and repeatedly examined and checked the occurrence described including by conducting experimental tests. In these tests, it appeared that the sticking can only occur when a very high additional lateral force is applied to the pedal, already floored and held at end of travel. The leftward side thrust was extreme (275 N, equal to no less than approximately 28 kilograms) and highly abnormal with respect to the force applied to the accelerator pedal by a normal driver, which is no higher than 50 N (from 4 to 5 kilograms) and generally applied downwards or, at most, from left to right. In brief, the occurrence described derives from a highly anomalous, unexpected behaviour, which could in fact only be reproduced intentionally and after very many attempts.
The technology used for the accelerator pedal of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta has been widely used for many years in the automotive industry, and not only by Alfa Romeo. However, Fiat Group Automobiles has not received customer complaints regarding this occurrence, much less received reports of accidents related to this fault on any model.
It must also be emphasised that the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, like other models made by the Group, is equipped with a smart engine control system – called “brake override system” – that guarantees vehicle control even in extreme situations, like the one described. If the accelerator and brake pedal are pressed at the same time, the system ensures that the signal from the brake pedal has priority over any other command and the engine is automatically taken to minimum rpm (regardless of the condition of the accelerator) so that the car can easily be stopped.
The “brake override system” is activated whenever the car is moving faster than a very slow speed (5 kilometres per hour for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta) and intervenes 0.5 seconds after the brake pedal is pressed. Therefore, should the accelerator pedal remain accidentally pressed (even independently of the behaviour described in the articles which, as mentioned, Fiat Group Automobiles regards as abnormal with no bearing on reasonable, predictable vehicle use) this system guarantees that the driver can maintain control of the car and stop it simply by pressing the brake pedal.
Although safety is not at stake, as explained above, an intervention is being carried out on all Alfa Romeo Giuliettas to make sticking of the accelerator in the described manner impossible. The objective is to safeguard and confirm the high quality of the new product. The first customers to whom an Alfa Romeo Giulietta has already been delivered will be contacted as soon as possible to have the operation carried out free of charge.
Fiat Group Automobiles engineers will continue to constantly monitor vehicle behaviour and will not hesitate to implement any corrective measure deemed necessary.

Comme quoi, il y a aussi des sales cons en Allemagne  ... c'est sans doute une tentative de sabotage ... peut-être des fans d'Audi !!! 
Le positif de la chose, et le Groupe Fiat en a immédiatement tiré profit, c'est la description du dispositif "brake override system" qui peut éviter une catastrophe dans le cas malencontreux où un conducteur appuie fortement sur le frein et l'accélérateur simultanément !   |

Par contre, est-ce normal de ne pas avoir de poignées de maintien pour les passagers, ni de crochet pour les porte-manteaux ?
Est-ce à cause des Airs Bags latéraux ? |

J'ai fait immatriculer la Giulietta avec 27 (Eure) car j'espère bien trouver une maison en haute-normandie, autour de Bernay/Brionne ou de Breteuil/Verneuil ... |
